The Sunset Bar & Grill at Den Laman is under the management of Kirk Gosden, known to many as the owner/chef of the Lions Den Restaurant.

Kirk's restaurant offers guests superb meals in a relaxed atmosphere with unobstructed vistas of the Caribbean Sea. It is also the perfect place to watch the dive boats and shore divers come and go. Sunset also provides room service to all Den Laman guests during their standard hours of operation.

The Sunset Bar & Grill is open daily excluding Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm for lunch, and 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm for dinner. 

Kirk features a terrific Barbeque each Friday which includes marinated beef sirloin & chicken, grilled catch of the day & pork ribs, assorted delicious sauces and salsas, local red bean rice, salad and corn on the cob. All for only $19.50.

Early Bird Dinner Special!
Sunset is also offering an Early Bird Dinner Special for customers dining between 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Purchase any one of 5 dinner entrees for $12.00 plus for one night, $42.00 for 4 nights for $74.00 for seven nights. (5% tax added to all charges.) Entree Specials vary and are posted at the restaurant each day.

Sunset Bar & Grille and Lion's Den Team to Offer a Seven Night Dinner Special
For only $140.00 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) you can dine for seven nights at either Sunset Bar & Grille at Den Laman or Lion's Den at Buddy Dive Resort. Sunset is closed on Wednesday nights so dinner is served only at Lion's Den, and on Friday nights, the dinner special is available only for the BBQ buffet at Sunset. Other nights it is your choice where to dine!  The price includes a two course menus that are different at each restaurant.

Multi Media Slide Show Presentation
Each Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m., local underwater photo pro John Wall hosts a multimedia slide presentation at Sunset. The presentation showcases Bonaire's underwater world and provides tips of shooting that perfect photo!

Breakfast is available from 7:30 am - 10:00 am at Eddy's Restaurant, located a mere minutes stroll away on the Sand Dollar Condominium property immediately adjacent to Den Laman. Eddy's also serves lunch daily from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and dinner from dinner from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm daily.

Breakfast is also available directly across the street at the Eli Deli. The Deli also serves up delicious sandwiches as well as gourmet cheese and spreads. The delis is open Tuesday - Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 - 4:00 p, and Sunday 8:00 - 2:00 pm. Closed on Mondays.

Lovers Ice Cream is located on the adjacent property, with several other restaurant  options within easy walking distance of Den Laman, as well as a diverse selection of restaurants in town to chose from. As an added bonus, Den Laman guests now have the added convenience of having an excellent wine and liquor store immediately across the street at the newly opened BonaireMart.

Of course, no trip to Bonaire would be complete without stopping in to a local Antillean "snack" for Kabritu Stoba (otherwise known as goat stew!), so be sure to ask your local hosts for driving directions to their favorite "Snack."
